Russia on 3 November hit servicemen when those gathered to be decorated in honour of Artillery Day.



Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov said that he had instructed the agency's chief inspectorate to conduct an inspection into the deaths of defenders from the 128th separate mountain assault Zakarpattia brigade. About this he wrote in Facebook.

He expressed condolences to the families of the victims and promised that all the circumstances of what happened will be established.

Our enemy is an insidious terrorist. We must make every effort to protect our people and give all honest answers to the families and friends of the fallen soldiers," Umerov said.

The Russian army struck Ukrainian soldiers in the frontline village of Zaporizhzhya, who were gathered in one place to be awarded in honour of Artillery Day, tentatively we may be talking about more than 20 dead, including the former head of Khmelnytskyi regional RTCC Volodymyr Vozny, who was recently transferred to the RTCC of Zaporizhzhya region.

Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Viktor Mykyta appealed to the residents of Transcarpathian region to cancel the planned holidays.

I ask all fellow countrymen, communities, entrepreneurs in public catering establishments to refrain in the next few days from any entertainment events, concerts, etc..... After the official information and with the permission of the 128th OGSHBr, there will be an order to honour the fallen soldiers," he wrote.
