The Czech Republic has expressed a desire to lead the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine

The Czech Republic believes that the critical task is to provide European finance for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
This was stated by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jozef Sikela during a meeting with the ambassadors of the Czech Republic in Prague.
The politician says that the Ukrainian side has presented a document defining the needs related to the renewal of critical infrastructure after the Russian invasion.
According to him, his ministry has created a business club in Ukraine as a platform for collecting information about demand in Ukraine with proposals from Czech companies.
We are also cooperating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a joint document regarding reconstruction,” he said.
In July, at the International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, the Ukrainian government presented its concept of the Marshall Plan - in ten years, the country should be rebuilt and adjusted to European standards.
