One of the reasons for Russia's switch to the frequent use of Soviet Kh-22 anti-ship missiles may be large losses of aviation.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

In a telephone conversation with the chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff, General Mark Milley, he said that the Russian Federation began to use more strategic cruise missiles.

Every day, the enemy fires from 10 to 14 cruise missiles at civilian infrastructure. Recently, Russia has been resorting to the tactics of massive use of supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles of the Kh-22 type against these targets, Zaluzhny said.

According to him, the Russian Federation changed its tactics and began to use less aviation, which suffers heavy losses.
