The AFU General Staff reported on the results of the Russian summer offensive in Ukraine

However, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian army's next offensive ended without results and was accompanied by colossal losses.

Results of the offensive: not a single major city

According to the General Staff, the Russians have not managed to establish control over a single major Ukrainian city during the entire campaign. At the same time, the Ukrainian side notes the huge losses of the enemy - almost 210 thousand military killed and wounded, as well as thousands of units of destroyed equipment, including:

• 2174 armoured combat vehicles,

• 1201 tanks,

• 7,303 artillery systems,

• 157 multiple rocket launchers.

Sumy and Kharkiv directions

The General Staff paid special attention to Russia's statements about the creation of "security zones" in Ukraine's border regions. The Ukrainian side called them "a fiction designed to hide the failures of operations."

Since the beginning of the year in the area of responsibility of the Kursk grouping of troops, the Defence Forces have killed 19,080 Russian military personnel and wounded more than 25,000. In Sumy region, Ukrainian units have liberated the settlements of Kondratievka and Andreevka and continue to push the enemy out of the border territories.

Casualties and "mass awarding"

According to the Ukrainian military, the real result of Russia in 2025 was only its own losses - more than 291 thousand killed and wounded. The mass awarding of 120 thousand Russian servicemen, the General Staff stressed, only confirms the scale of these losses.

Illusions of "precision strikes"

The Russian command also claimed "destruction of the Ukrainian missile industry" and "precision strikes on military facilities". In Ukraine, such statements are called propaganda.

In reality, peaceful Ukrainians are suffering from Russian strikes: houses are burning and families are dying. Each downed Iskander turns into an "AFU command centre", according to the Kremlin. Violations of international humanitarian law by Russia invariably lead to human casualties," the General Staff stressed.

Conclusion of the Ukrainian side

The Ukrainian military command notes that Russia's final report is "a sample of Kremlin lies and self-confidence." Despite massive attacks and loud statements, the front is holding, the Defence Forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy and deplete its resources.
