

The fiercest fighting on the front continues in Donbas.
The Ukrainian military is advancing in some parts of the front in Donbas. The commander of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Army, Oleksandr Syrskyy, wrotethis on Telegramon 13 May.
The commander of the Eastern Group of Forces stressed that our soldiers were inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
The defensive operation in the Bakhmut direction continues. Our soldiers are moving forward in some parts of the front, and the enemy is losing equipment and manpower. Glory to Ukraine and our heroes! - wrote Syrsky.
Earlier, Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar said on Telegram that the Ukrainian armed forces managed to advance 2km in the Bakhmut direction and did not lose a single position in a week.
According to ISW, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their counteroffensive in the Bakhmut area, which led to a decrease in the intensity of fighting in the city itself.
