Stefanyshyna explained what will be the next step on the way to the EU

EU ambassadors approve guidelines for talks on Ukraine's accession to the bloc.
To become a full-fledged member of the European Union, Ukraine must completely revise its legislation and bring it to European norms as much as possible. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanyshyna.
Ukraine's accession to the European Union is a long process. On this way Ukraine will have to fully adapt its legislation, legal system and economy to the conditions of the European Union," she said.
Stefanyshyna noted that if the start of negotiations takes place next week, the first stage may begin as early as July, during which the conformity of our legislation with European norms will be assessed.
Then we will understand our obligations," Stefanyshyna said.
We shall remind you that the EU approved the negotiation framework for Ukraine and Moldova and confirmed the date of launching the negotiations.
Earlier, the ambassadors of the EU member states approved in principle the framework for the accession negotiations of Ukraine as well as Moldova. Hungary and Slovakia did not block the decisions.
