It has been revealed how many women are serving in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

This was reported by Oksana Hryhoriyeva, gender adviser to the commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform has said.

It is noted that the number of female servicemen has increased over the past year.

And the second wave was so powerful precisely with the start of the full-scale invasion. And the women who are now in the army are strong, motivated, fearless women who voluntarily went to defend the homeland," Grigoryeva said.

Many women hold leadership positions, she added. This opportunity came about thanks to legislative changes in 2018.

At the moment, we have exactly this year's graduates of the girls who came in 2018 to study the specialties they chose. They are already officers, and there is a growing trend for officer positions in the Armed Forces. Particularly in the Ground Forces, there are currently 3,788 of them. And this is quite a powerful force," Grigoryeva stressed.
