In Zhytomyr, border guards received international aid totalling more than 3.3 million hryvnias.
The received field dugouts are equipped with everything necessary for autonomous use. They will provide adequate conditions for shelter and accommodation for the military during the service. This is reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
Provision of such technical assistance to border guards will increase the efficiency of service activity of the units when carrying out tasks to protect the northern border of Ukraine, as well as ensure proper protection of personnel," - said the head of engineering service of the border guard detachment named after Secheviye Streltsov, Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Kaidan.
The State Border Service of Ukraine expressed gratitude to our international partners for their assistance in strengthening the engineering component of the border protection system taking into account modern threats.
