Comparison of consumer baskets in the Lugansk region


Products in the occupied part of the Luhansk region are much more expensive.
The "consumer basket" in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region is almost 40% more expensive than in the controlled territory. This was announced by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai in his Telegram channel .
Monitoring of open sources on consumer prices for products in the so-called "LPR" refutes the myths about the "sweet life" in the "People's Republic," he wrote.
In particular, the following products of the "consumer basket" are much more expensive than Ukrainian ones: potatoes - by 45.44%, sunflower oil - by 44.95%, onions - by 44.47%, chicken eggs - by 42.79%, carrots - by 39.99%, poultry (chicken carcass) - by 39.36%, pork - by 31.99%, beets - by 29.14%, pasta - by 22.34%.
Recall, according to the estimates of the National Bank of Ukraine, inflation is predicted at the level of 20% this year.
As evidenced by the data of the portal of the Ministry of Finance , prices for butter increased in Ukraine in June compared to May. So, butter "Selyanske" 72.5% fat costs 64.25 UAH. per 200 grams, although in May its cost was lower - UAH 60.18. Oil "Yagotynske" 73% in June compared to May also rose - from 62.45 UAH. for 200 grams to 63.70. UAH
