Sold eggs at 17 and owned several hotels in Croatia

Tetyana Glinyanaya, a supplier of food products for the Ukrainian military ordered by the Defence Ministry, has become the owner of four hotels in the Croatian resort city of Split. This is stated in the investigation NV Business.

It is reported that journalists of the portal conducted their own investigation. In particular, they communicated with the staff of one of the hotels, where they showed a photo of a woman. There allegedly confirmed that it was she who became the new hohyayka elite resort metres by the sea in Croatia. They also said that she has several other hotels in Split and a meat processing plant in Ukraine.

The journalists were able to familiarise themselves with the local business register. There they found information that since the autumn of 2023, Glinjanaja became the beneficiary of the companies "Zen Adria doo", "Pigment doo", "Mimoza doo". And in another firm "Nazarii doo", she became the founder. Hotels in Split are registered to these companies:

• Hotel Mirari has 18 rooms, a restaurant and a rooftop pool.
• The 4* Hotel Ora has 24 rooms, a restaurant and a congress centre for 50 people.
• The 4* category Luxe Boutique Hotel has 30 rooms, a restaurant, a spa and a conference room for eight people.
• The 5* category Posh Hotel has six suites, a rooftop pool, and a spa centre.

Journalists say that similar hotels in Croatia by the sea cost from 2.5-3 million euros.

That is, to buy four hotels in the centre of Split it was necessary to spend more than 10 million euros, - they point out.

Investigators write that Tatiana Glinyanaya was a founder in the companies of the so-called "Bila Tserkva group," which at different times were major suppliers of food for the military. They are Premium Company LLC, Vizit LLC, Ukrprodprokord VR LLC and Grand Consult LLC (UAH 8.16bn in 2020-2023).

According to the publication "Our Money", the prices for food from Glinyana in contracts with the Ministry of Defence were inflated.

For example, in the contract valid for the second half of 2023, ordinary buckwheat cost 66 hryvnia per kilogram. But in the contract for the first three months of 2024, buckwheat costs 50 hryvnias per kilogramme. At the same time, according to the State Statistics Committee, retail prices for buckwheat during this period were constantly one and a half to two times less. In July buckwheat cost 48 UAH, by the end of the year the price dropped to 32 UAH. Right now buckwheat can be bought in Novus shop for 26 UAH per kilo," the investigators note.

They emphasise that the "scandalous" eggs at 17 UAH per piece also referred to contracts with companies associated with Glinyana.

Also the "Bila Tserkva Group" includes other legal entities registered to other individuals. This includes Active Company LLC, which at the end of 2022 received the most expensive contract of the Ministry of Defence worth UAH 13.16 billion with eggs at UAH 17 and potatoes at UAH 22. Now the owner of this firm is Alexander Dmytrevich from Bila Tserkva. This is a business partner of Glinyana's grandson Nazariy Berezyuk. Nazarius is currently the owner of Mit Mix LLC (Uzin, Bila Tserkva district, production of canned food), the beneficiary of which used to be Glinyana herself, - writes Nashi Money.

It is noted that in 2015, Tetyana Hlynyanaya and her son-in-law Ruslan Berezyuk appeared in the case of a bribe to a colonel of the National Guard. The latter was supposedly supposed to help them win one of the tenders.
