Sweden to provide new military aid package to Ukraine

This is reported by Aftonbladet.

It is a package of 720 million Swedish krona from the government ($60 million).

Among other things there will be air defence systems, but for security reasons Sweden does not name which ones. Apart from anti-aircraft systems, the military package includes off-road vehicles, winter gear and protection equipment, as well as tents.

Clearly Ukraine is defending itself well against a Russian offensive, far beyond expectations, and part of the explanation is that they are receiving extensive support from other countries.

The Swedish government has pledged to help Ukraine politically through the EU as well.
