Shoigu said that Russia plans to mobilize about 300 thousand people

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated this in his video message.

Three hundred thousand people in Russia will be partially mobilized: those who have served have a military specialty and combat experience,” he said.

In addition, Shoigu announced the so-called official number of Russians killed in the war against Ukraine on February 24. According to him, this number is 5937 people.

The Russian Minister of Defense promised that students would not be drafted. And those who serve on conscription will not be sent to fight in Ukraine.

Shoigu's appeal had a place for the usual propaganda statements. He again complained that Russia was allegedly at war with the collective West, not Ukraine.
