The perpetrators were two local residents - 30-year-old Vladimir Mamon and his younger brother 23-year-old Dmitry Mamon

This was reported by the SBU press service.

The investigation found that the brothers, who had defected to the Rashist side during the occupation of the region, were given "positions" in the ranks of the occupation "internal affairs department of the military-civil administration of Kharkiv Region". There, one of them was appointed "driver of a convoy group" and the other "traffic patrol inspector".

To collect information, the brothers maintained supposedly friendly relations with fellow villagers and obtained the necessary information from them by various psychological methods. Local residents did not realise that under the guise of unobtrusive conversations, the attackers were actually carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine.

The older brother learnt in detail from his fellow villagers who would be at the memorial event, what time it would take place and where exactly it would take place. He passed this information to his Russian handlers, who, based on the information received, decided to fire at the civilian target.

The information received from the traitors was used by the Rashists to launch a targeted attack on the Ukrainian village using the Iskander M operational-tactical missile system.

As a result of the Russian air attack, 53 civilians were killed, including a young child.

Based on the collected evidence, investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine have drawn up suspicions against both defendants under part 2 of article 28 and part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In addition, the criminal actions of Volodymyr Mamon are additionally qualified under part 5 of article 27, part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 438.

The process of establishing their whereabouts is ongoing.
