Sadovyy says how much damage the Russian attack did to the city

Around 60 families lost their homes to a Russian missile attack in Lviv.
Residents of Lviv who have lost their flats as a result of the Russian Federation's attack on the city's residential development will be offered temporary accommodation. This was announced by Lviv city head Andriy Sadovyy.
We will rebuild the destroyed house, which is a monument of architecture. But it will not happen tomorrow. Everyone who needs housing will receive compensation for temporary accommodation. The city will help find a flat for temporary accommodation. Until then, people will live as they wish in the relocation camp or the CCU dormitory," Sadovyy added.
He pointed out that UAH 100 million have already been allocated from the city budget to eliminate the consequences of the attack. The money will be used to rebuild damaged houses and infrastructure.
In Lviv, 18 roofs were destroyed and 926 windows were damaged due to enemy shelling. As of today, 12 roofs have been completely covered with tarpaulin or film. Four roofs cannot be restored - they need to be reconstructed. In one of the houses, only half of the roof was covered, the other part could not be covered because of the destroyed fasteners," said the mayor.
Sadovyy also pointed out that 926 windows were damaged in the city due to the Russian attack.
As of today, 662 windows have already been taped over. Work is continuing," the mayor added.
He added that electricity and water supply had been restored in all but three of the damaged houses.
The mayor also said that additional police squads had been sent to the attacked area of the city at the moment. Law enforcers are guarding the damaged houses against looting.
We shall remind you that on the night of 6 July 2023, Lviv was subjected to rocket attacks by the Russian occupants who used Kalibr missiles. It was recorded that residential areas were hit and one of the missiles hit an apartment building, with people trapped under the rubble. A total of 10 people were killed and more than 40 were injured.
