Russian troops continue to take tactical offensive actions in Donbas.



DeepState analysts have recorded the advance of the Russian army in a number of localities, including Toretsk, as well as Orekhovo-Vasilievka, Yasenovo, Zelenoye, Vozdvizhenka, Nadezhdinka, Lysovka, Solenoye and Bolshaya Novoselka.

According to the AFU General Staff, in the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted six assaults in the areas of Toretsk and Dilievka. The greatest activity of the Russian troops remains in the Pokrovsky direction, where fighting continues in the areas of Baranivka, Elizavetivka, Lis, Zelenoye, Novy Truda, Zverevo, Novoandreyevka, Uspenovka, Slavyanka and Konstantinopolskyi. Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions, successfully repelling 52 enemy attacks, with 11 skirmishes remaining in the active phase. A total of 157 military clashes have been registered since the beginning of the day.

Meanwhile, more than 7,000 Ukrainian servicemen who had previously left their units unauthorisedly have decided to return to service. The State Bureau of Investigation reports that 4,396 of them have already been officially reinstated, while for the rest the process of resumption of service and termination of criminal proceedings is ongoing. The number of returnees may increase as the Verkhovna Rada has extended the deadline for voluntary return to service until 1 March 2025.
