KABs can reach Dnipropetrovsk region: residents of the region warned of the threat

The front line in Ukraine continues to shift, approaching the borders of Dnipropetrovsk region
The head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, said in his Telegram channel that the distance from the front line to the region has been reduced to less than 7km, particularly from the temporarily occupied village of Solenoye in Donetsk Region. This poses additional risks for residents of the region, as Russian forces can use guided aerial bombs (KABs) and artillery to shell border communities.
Several communities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast have been placed in the high-risk zone. These include:
- Velikomikhailivska,
- Malomikhailivska,
- Novopavlovskaya,
- Mezhevskaya,
- Pokrovskaya,
- Petropavlovskaya,
- Vasylkivska.
In addition, the eastern part of Sinelnikivskyi district and border areas of Pavlogradskyi district, especially from the direction of Pokrovska, are threatened. This means that the risk of air strikes and artillery shelling may affect a significant part of the region.
Nikolai Lukashuk appealed to the residents of these territories to observe safety measures. He stressed the importance of a serious attitude to the air alert signals and strict observance of safety rules. With the front line approaching, every warning can save lives.
The shrinking distance between the frontline and the borders of Dnipropetrovsk region indicates the growing tension in the region. In this regard, there is a growing need to promptly inform the population, strengthen the work of air defence systems and coordinate the actions of local authorities with military structures.
It remains key for residents of the region to recognise the reality of the threat and to be ready to follow instructions in case of an emergency.
