At night artillery shelling damaged the combined heat and power plant in the southern region. There is destruction of buildings and equipment. Heat supply to consumers was not stopped, the possibilities for power supply are limited, - stated in the message.

A unit at one of the thermal power plants has been switched on. Electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is still enough to meet the needs of household and legal consumers.

Sunny weather favours the production of more electricity by solar power plants. Electricity consumption limits have not been introduced. Shutdown schedules have not been introduced and are not forecasted.

Ukrenergo Dispatch Centre forecasts electricity shortage in the energy system in the evening hours from 16:00 to 18:00.
