Russian military personnel in Belarus often fall ill because of poor sanitary conditions
13:00, 07.11.2022

This is due to the military living in unsuitable conditions, mostly in field tents without proper sanitary conditions.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry

The intelligence service claims that units from Russia, which are predominantly made up of so-called "partially mobilized" citizens, keep arriving on the territory of Belarus. Their main task is to prepare the material base and locations of the occupation troops.

Currently, there is a large-scale outbreak of various diseases among these soldiers. These are mainly respiratory diseases (bronchitis, sore throat, pneumonia, asthma exacerbation) and infections of the gastrointestinal tract. The scale of diseases is such that Belarusian medics are not able to cope with them yet. The occupiers are forced to urgently send military and mobile medics from Russia to Belarus.

This happens because the military are living in unsuitable conditions, mostly in field tents without proper sanitary conditions.

Also, tensions between the military of the two countries are growing in Belarus. Numerous conflict situations are related to the precedents of Russian military's disparaging attitude towards Belarusians. The military police of Belarus is unable to restrain the illegal behaviour of Russians. In particular, the report notes filed by senior officers of the SRS based on complaints of their enlisted personnel point out the disparaging statements and behaviour of Russians towards Belarusians. In particular, using humiliation based on ethnic characteristics.
