Russian actor Dmitry Pevtsov, a Russian MP, has been declared a person of suspicion

According to the SBU materials, Russian actor from "Bandit Petersburg" Pevtsov, who called for war against Ukraine, received suspicion.
The SBU has collected evidence against Russian actor Dmitriy Pevtsov, who publicly supports Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, the SBU has said. This was reported by the SBU.
Pevtsov is a member of the Russian State Duma and is a member of the close entourage of the top military and political leadership of the aggressor country.
According to the investigation, Pevtsov repeatedly spoke in favour of the Russian occupiers during mass events with the participation of Putin.
He also frequently appeared on the airwaves of Russia's central TV channels, where he called for the seizure of state power and the entire territory of Ukraine.
In interviews with Kremlin propagandists, he spoke about how he personally voted in favour of recognising the "independence" of the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The defendant justified the criminal actions of Russian troops and occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.
The experts confirmed the facts of his information and subversive activities in favour of the Kremlin. Based on the collected evidence, SBU investigators informed Pevtsov about suspicion in absentia under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- ч. 3 of article 109 (actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power);
- ч. 2 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- art. 436 (propaganda of war).
Since the perpetrator is on the territory of the Russian Federation, complex measures are being continued to bring him to justice for offences against Ukraine.
