According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report on May 25, due to the insufficient stocks of high-precision missile weapons, the enemy is looking for other ways to destroy critical and military facilities on the territory of Ukraine.

It is noted that up to seven battalions of the Armed Forces of Belarus continue to perform tasks to strengthen the protection of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Volyn and Polesye directions. There remains the threat of missile and air strikes by the enemy from the territory of the republic.

In the Seversk direction, the enemy is equipping strongholds in the border areas on the territory of the Bryansk region and continues shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian infrastructure in the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian troops concentrated on holding their positions. They shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of the village of Rubezhnoye, and also made an unsuccessful attempt to attack in the Ternovaya area. In the Slavic direction, the enemy units did not carry out active operations, focusing on holding their positions, conducting reconnaissance and creating conditions for the resumption of the offensive, the General Staff said.

Also, shelling from cannon and rocket artillery, mortars and tanks was recorded in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlements of Svyatogorsk and Dovgenkoye. In addition, the enemy launched an air strike near the village of Bayrak. With the support of artillery and army aviation, he unsuccessfully tried to take control of the settlement of Pasek.

In the Limansky direction, the enemy has stepped up military operations in the area of the settlement of Liman, in the Severodonetsky direction, with the support of artillery, he is advancing on Severodonetsk. And in the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an offensive in the area of Kamyshevakhi, Yakovlevka and Troitsky, suffered losses and had no success.

In the Avdeevka direction, the enemy does not stop mortar and artillery shelling in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Peski, Marinka, Orekhov and Novoselka, used ground attack and army aircraft in the areas of Kamenka, Avdeevka and Novomikhailovka. In the Yuzhnobuzhsky direction, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities, fired at units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and conducted counter-battery combat.

It is reported that over the past 24 hours, nine enemy attacks were repulsed in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, three tanks, eight artillery systems, 18 units of armored vehicles, a special armored vehicle and one unit of other vehicles were destroyed. Air defense units in the indicated direction destroyed six Orlan-10 UAVs and one ZALA unmanned aerial system.
