Russia sends mercenary pilots to Ukraine, but saves on their payment

Payments for mercenary pilots in Ukraine are much lower than in Syria.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department says:
Russian military mercenaries are trying to create an aviation component that can be used in Ukraine. However, the effectiveness and training of pilots using various modifications of the Mi-8 does not allow them to perform tasks as intended. In addition, the motivation of the flight crew is negatively affected by significantly reduced, in comparison with Syria, payments.
The private military company "Wagner" in Russia is already competing with might and main in terms of equipment with the regular armed forces of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the founder of Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, constantly has a confrontation with the Russian Ministry of Defense. He believes that the Russian department does not provide enough equipment for his fighters.
In addition, Russia replenishes the occupying troops at the expense of private military companies. So, for example, PMCs are withdrawing a contingent from Mali and transferring them to Ukraine.
