The first results of the Ramstein meeting: what aid will be given to Ukraine


Germany, France, the Netherlands and Canada will soon hand over new military aid in the form of equipment and ammunition.
The Netherlands will transfer anti-aircraft missiles worth 15 million euros to Ukraine to strengthen the protection of the sky, the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands said at the ministerial meeting of the North Atlantic Alliance in Brussels, reports De Telegraaf .
In turn, the German Ministry of Defense stated:
Ukraine will receive additional MLRS MARS II and self-propelled guns PzH 2000 in the next few weeks.
Canada announces $47 million aid package to Ukraine:
- 500 thousand units of winter military clothing;
- artillery shells worth $15.2 million;
- provision of satellite communications in the amount of $2 million.
France will transfer 3 LRU MLRS systems (modification M270) out of 12 in service.

In addition, the EU ambassadors today agreed to establish an EU military alliance, Radio Liberty Europe editor Rikard Jozwiak said.
The military aid mission to Ukraine, headquartered in Germany and Poland, is due to be approved by EU foreign ministers on Monday and to begin work as soon as possible.
