Russian occupation troops attacked a military airfield in Poltava Region at night, hitting it with Iskander missiles and drones. There is damage as a result of the attack, the head of the OVA, Dmitriy Lunin, said.

During the night attack near the Mirgorod military airfield, the enemy used Iskander ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as Iranian-made strike drones. There is some damage to the airfield infrastructure and equipment," he informed.

Lunin noted that a fire broke out at the airfield after the missiles struck. It was partially contained by the fire brigades and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

At the moment, measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and transport equipment to safe locations.

As a result of air defence, 8 privatebuildings and 4 private cars were damagedafter falling debris. There were no fatalities or casualties," he wrote.

In total, Russia fired 8 missiles of various types and 35 Iranian-made kamikaze drones at Ukraine on the night of 10 June. Air defence forces shot down most of the enemy targets.

The attack continued from 23:00 on 9 June until 5:00 on 10 June. The occupiers attacked the Odessa, Kharkiv and Poltava regions.

According to the AFU, eight land-based missiles of various types were fired by the Russian Federation from the northern and southern directions. The drones were launched from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
