Russians attacked the south of Odessa region with "Shaheds" on the night of 2 August

The enemy's targets were the region's port and industrial infrastructure facilities
On the night of 2 August 2023, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike drones.
The enemy directed the attack UAVs to the south of Odessa Region. As a result of the attack, fires broke out at the facilities of the region's port and industrial infrastructure and a grain elevator was damaged," the head of the Odessa Region state administration, Kiper, said.

Shaheds were launched at Ukraine from three directions - Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation) and Chauda (Crimea). The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defence of other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, destroyed 23 attack UAVs," the AFU air forces reported.
Another night of war, another night of work of our heroic air defence. We are defending ourselves to the maximum of available forces. A lot of "shahedin" were shot down. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Unfortunately, there is damage. The most significant - in the South of the country. Russian terrorists were again hitting ports, grain and global food security. All our operational services worked effectively. The world must respond. When civilian ports are targeted, when terrorists deliberately destroy even grain elevators - this is a threat to everyone on every continent. Russia can and must be stopped," President Zelensky commented on the night attack.
The same night Russia attacked Kiev and the region with Shaheds. Fortunately, without casualties.
