Russia is ready to engage in a protracted war - GUR

Russia has no intention of stopping hostilities on Ukrainian territory.
The Kremlin is preparing for a protracted war and is taking measures to reorganize the country's economy and military-industrial complex, the press service of the State Intelligence Service has said.
The Ukrainian intelligence service points out that the measures to reorganize the Russian economy and military-industrial complex which Vladimir Putin is taking are a precursor to putting the country under martial law:
Such measures are aimed at boosting the capacity of the Russian armed forces and creating conditions for the operations planned at the very beginning of the war
The SDM notes that Russia's attempts to draw all military resources to continue the war against Ukraine, as well as the recent appointment of Valeriy Gerasimov, the chief of the Russian Armed Forces' General Staff, as the new commander of the Russian troops, point not only to military failures of the Kremlin, but also to Moscow's preparation for continuing a large-scale longterm war.
It should be noted that the Kremlin chief's intentions to prolong the war in Ukraine have been traced back to the summer after the terrible failures of the Russian troops.
