Russian criminal who was killed in the war in Ukraine received a posthumous award from Putin

In the Russian Federation, a gang leader sentenced to 25 years for murder received a posthumous medal "For Courage" from Vladimir Putin. The victim was awarded "for participation in the war in Ukraine." This was reported by The Insider.
The publication reports that Ivan Neparatov, the leader of the Moscow OPG, died on August 5 in the city of Artemovsk, Donetsk region. The cause of death was listed as "gunshot explosive shrapnel penetrating wound to the head".
Ivan Neparatov, born in 1988, was the leader of a gang of robbers near Moscow. In 2013, he and members of his organized criminal group were found guilty of five murders (among them a woman), three robberies, extortion, fraud, illegal possession of weapons and other crimes. For all this, he had to serve 25 years, but he was released after 12 years. After that, in 2022, he decided to kill the inhabitants of Ukraine in the ranks of the Russian army.
Nepatov was posthumously awarded the medal "For Courage" signed by the Russian president. In addition, the killer was awarded a medal and orders "For Blood and Courage" by the leadership of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
