Reznikov says when to expect F-16s in the skies over Ukraine

The Ukrainian military will soon begin training to pilot fighter jets.
As early as August, the Ukrainian military will be sent to training exercises where they will learn the basics of piloting F-16 fighters. And in 2024, Ukraine will receive the aircrafts and will be able to raise them in the Ukrainian sky for defence against invaders. This was stated by the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov in an interview with CNN.
He specified that the training will take at least six months. Ukraine also needs to work on the infrastructure for fighter jets. According to his optimistic forecasts, Ukraine will be able to use them in the skies by the spring of 2024.
According to him, the training of Ukrainian pilots will take place in Denmark and the Netherlands, as well as in the UK or Poland.
It will include intensive training for technicians, as maintenance of fighter jets is a serious task," he said.
He also noted that the fighter jets could play a positive role in the counter-offensive if Ukraine received them now.
We would like to point out that the USA said that the Ukrainian army would be able to receive the jets by the end of this year.
