Reznikov estimates Ukraine's losses in the war against Russia

The defence minister stressed that the main task for the Ukrainian military command was to keep soldiers alive.
Ukrainian casualties in the war are less than the number of victims of the February earthquake in Turkey, Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov told the Spanish newspaper La Razon.
Of course, we have casualties because we are at war. But they are critically fewer than the Russian ones. I cannot tell you the figure, but I can assure you that the total number is less than the number of deaths caused by the earthquake in Turkey," he said.
The defence minister stressed that the main task for the Ukrainian military command was to keep soldiers alive. He also held up that Russia was using its own as cannon fodder.
This is a meat grinder tactic. They don't care. In Bakhmut alone, Russia loses 500 men killed and wounded every day. That's one battalion a day - members of the Wagner Group, mercenaries and former criminals. This is barbaric," the minister said.
We shall remind you that the country's leadership has classified data on Ukrainian casualties. The exact number of those killed in the war with Russia will be disclosed only after the war.
