Latvian Intelligence Service: There are no threats to Putin's existence in Russia

This was reported in a report by the Latvian Security Service (SAB).

The Intelligence Service said Putin's regime is stronger than ever.

Intelligence reports:

By intensifying repressive policies, Putin has ensured himself almost complete control and dominance of the Russian information space, while at the same time imposing numerous restrictions and carrying out repressions against the disgruntled has reached an almost totalitarian level.

SAB also noted:

The political opposition in Russia has been destroyed and much of society is intimidated and apathetic and avoids politically controversial topics.

The main priority for Putin and his entourage remains the retention of power and the regime will not compromise on this, the report concluded.
