Russia does not hide its imperial ambitions and has repeatedly stated that it intends to return the territories of the USSR.

Russia may attack Georgia again if Ukraine cannot withstand the onslaught of the enemy. The Baltic States and Europe as a whole are also under threat. This was stated by Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili in an interview with Lithuanian TV channel LRT.

We or you will be next if Russia is not stopped. We have Russian military bases in the occupied territories. The whole of Europe and democracy itself, the future of democracy, is under threat," she pointed out.

At the same time, Zurabishvili noted that Ukraine is fighting heroically and expressed hope for Kiev's victory. She emphasised that democracy should help Ukraine to win this war faster - with weapons, other assistance.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has already lost the first 'round' of the war in Ukraine, now Europe's task is to help Ukraine to achieve the final victory and make Russia stay away from its own borders and behave like a normal state," the President said.

Zurabishvili pointed out that Ukrainians have already "done the impossible", showed their courage and proved that Ukraine is invincible.

Ukraine is invincible. The resilience and courage shown by Ukraine and its president show the world that it is possible to question Russian military might, confront the Russian military and humiliate the Russian military through everything that has happened. Changes in the military command, endless changes in the war strategy, the story with Prigozhin - shows that the Russian president has not completed what he started and continues the war in the style of the KGB and not according to the rules of war," she emphasised.

According to the politician, peace in Europe can come only after the complete and final defeat of Moscow.

Until this happens, no one can live peacefully and no one can say that we are not threatened by further interventions, because Russia will remain Russia as it was, as we have seen and known it, as you know it, as we know it and as many Europeans know it," Zurabishvili noted.

The Georgian head of state said that Kiev's victory is quite realistic and pointed out that the solidarity of other countries, their support and resistance to Russia will largely contribute to it.

Ukraine must win now, and Ukraine's victory will lead to victory for all of us and will help to ensure peace and stability. It will help to ensure the security of the Black Sea region, which is simply irreplaceable and especially important for Europe," she added.
