In March, the occupiers set up a fighting position on the Zhytomyr highway (M06) and shot up cars carrying civilians who were trying to escape the war.

The National Police of Ukraine said:

As a result of the shelling, a two-year-old child was seriously wounded by gunfire, and an occupant killed his parents in front of a seven-year-old boy, the head of the investigation department of the National Police in Crimea and Sevastopol, Aleksandr Klimovskiy, said.

Police also released a video of the bloody crimes committed by the Russian occupiers: CCTV footage and recollections of people who miraculously survived - see the video.
