A deserter from Vladimir Putin's army was detained by Podlasie border guards immediately after crossing the Belarusian border. The Internal Security Agency has already become involved in the case. - reads the report.
The detained Russian military man is 41 years old. He crossed the border in civilian clothes and without weapons.
Russian military documents were found with him, including a contract with the army stipulating participation in military operations against Ukraine. This means that he went to the front voluntarily.
To get to the West, the Russian tried to use the migration channel organised by the regime of Alexander Lukashenko, which is used by foreigners mainly from the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia," the newspaper said.
Now the 41-year-old defector is being thoroughly checked by Polish security services.
