A panic attack is a severe anxiety attack that comes on suddenly and goes away just as suddenly.

Dr. Evgeny Komarovsky noted that many are now experiencing panic attacks. And with the outbreak of the war, there are a lot of people who suddenly begin to experience panic, even for no apparent reason. A well-known pediatrician and presenter spoke about this in an interview with Max Nazarov in the program "Yes, it is."

Note that a panic attack is not a fatal disease, but in addition to psychological and emotional discomfort, it can have a negative impact on physical health. For example, a person during such an attack may faint. This can happen if the vasospasm is too strong. The consequences of such a fall can just have a long-term negative impact on health.

According to the Honored Doctor of Ukraine, there are three options for getting rid of panic disorders.

The first option is to limit negative information.

At the same time, Komarovsky noted that this is an unlikely way to protect yourself from anxieties and unrest if you have to live in a society where they have become the norm.

The second is to try to occupy the physical body as much as possible.

The doctor emphasizes that there is no need to “boil” in negative information every minute. Also, do not once again look at content that upsets you very much. But, if you have free time - do physical exercises. This is not necessarily a sport in its purest form, but such can be housework, in the garden.

There is always where to direct physical efforts - to help volunteers, load wagons, deliver, plow, dig trenches, clear rubble ... There is always something to do physically. But you have to be very physically tired, says the doctor.

The third is a trip to a specialist.

Komarovsky emphasizes that going to a psychologist or psychiatrist is normal. And there is nothing to be ashamed of. At the same time, emphasizes Komarovsky, any certified doctor can treat depression and panic disorders all over the world.
