UN sends humanitarian convoys to Kherson region

The UN has sent drinking water, food packs, shelter repair materials and medicines to Kherson oblast.
The UN has sent humanitarian convoys to Kherson Region. This was reported by the Kherson regional administration.
It is reported that representatives of the organization carried humanitarian aid for the Bilozersk community and Kherson, which were most affected by the flooding caused by the blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam by the Russians.
Drinking water, food kits, housing repair materials, and medications are being sent to the Bilozersk community and Kherson," the statement said.
The humanitarian cargo is accompanied by Denise Brown, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine.
A representative of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Jeremy Lawrence, said that his office could not yet judge whether the destruction of the Kakhovka hydropower plant by the Russians was a war crime. In his opinion, the circumstances of the explosion are "unclear". Kiev called such statements "cynical".
Thirty-five settlements in Kherson Region are now flooded, which means more than 3,000 homes.
