Around 4am, Russian troops dropped 2 aerial bombs on Kherson. Six casualties

The Russians dropped bombs around 4:00 on Wednesday, 23 August. This was reported by Kherson Regional State Administration chairman Oleksandr Prokudin.

As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters.

According to the Prosecutor's office, the Russians hit the building of the kindergarten with a guided aerial bomb. In the zone of impact of the blast wave were apartment buildings located nearby.

As reported by the head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko:

To extinguish promptly involved 3 units of specialised equipment and 14 employees of the personnel of the State emergency service.

He also added that during the past 24 hours the enemy shelled Kherson city territorial community 13 times and used 78 shells.

As a result of enemy shelling, 1 person, unfortunately, was killed, 4 more people were injured of varying severity.
