In the Kherson region, the invaders are sandwiched between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Dnieper

This was announced by the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command "South" Defense Forces , Natalia Gumenyuk.

The fire control that we hold over the crossings and transport arteries across the Dnieper makes them understand that they are squeezed between the defense forces and the right bank - the units in this part of the Kherson region. Therefore, they were offered a way out by transferring under the auspices of international humanitarian law or returning home. Still, we need to understand how, - said Natalya Gumenyuk.

The head of the press center of OK "South" added that there are cases when the leadership of the units of the RF Armed Forces gets in touch with the Armed Forces of Ukraine to agree on the conditions for laying down weapons.
