- A Western country has expressed readiness to rebuild Mariupol

Mariupol has been under occupation since the first days of full-scale war.
Ireland intends to take part in the reconstruction of Mariupol. This was reported by the Mariupol city council with reference to a meeting between Mariupol mayor Vadym Boychenko and the Irish ambassador to Ukraine, Teresa Gili.
It is reported that the programme to rebuild the city will be called "Mariupol Reborn".
In particular, the authorities of the western country will share experience and expertise on the development of a new economic model of the city during its reconstruction. Until then, Ireland will support Mariupol families in evacuating.
Ireland is ready to support Mariupol displaced people, as well as to join programmes to support Mariupol schoolchildren," said Gili.
In addition, Ireland has offered its assistance in restoring the economy of Mariupol after the de-occupation. It is about the creation of new industries, which can be useful for Mariupol.
The ambassador stressed that Ireland would continue to support the Ukrainian people in their struggle for independence and freedom.
