Occupiers shoot civilians in Selidovo: investigation launched

In Selidove, Donetsk Region, the Russian military probably shot two civilian women. The occupants also shelled a civilian car and wounded a person. This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional Prosecutor's office is carried out pre-trial investigation on criminal proceedings on the facts of violation of laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal code of Ukraine), - stated in the message.

It is noted that on 27 October 2024 in several Telegram-channels was published information about the killings by the occupants of civilians in the town of Selidovo.

On the released video it was recorded how representatives of the troops of the aggressor state, probably shot from automatic weapons a civilian car in the locality. At the time of the attack there were two citizens in the cabin, one of them was wounded. After that, the AFU military arrived on the scene and pulled the injured man from the line of fire, provided him with first aid and evacuated the civilians from under fire. Preliminarily, this happened on 24 October 2024.

In addition, according to media reports, the enemy shot two women in the city. Also, as noted by online resources, there are bodies of dead civilians in the area of the private sector almost unaffected by active hostilities. That is, these murders were committed, tentatively, after the enemy had taken control of these territories.

We note that active hostilities continue in the direction of the village of Vishnevoye, south of Selidovoi. The Russians have thrown all their forces there in order to be able to surround Selidove.
