These processes are beneficial for the Ukrainian Defence Forces, they contribute to the deterioration of discipline in the RF troops.
Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Region have stepped up measures to search for deserters. This was reported by the Centre for National Resistance on 29 February.
In particular, in order to search for those who escaped from the front line in the region, the number of Rosgvardiya checkpoints has been increased, which are now intensively checking all soldiers of the enemy army," the report said.
Also, Russian military personnel are not allowed to go on leave outside the occupied territories and are effectively banned from free movement between settlements.
These processes are useful for the Defence Forces, because they contribute to further deterioration of discipline in the Russian army and increase confrontation between its units," the centre said.
The Centre for National Resistance calls on the local population to report the locations of the enemy's deployment sites, training grounds, headquarters, and warehouses where equipment and BCs are located.
