Not visible on REB and will reach Moscow: Ukraine has launched a new cruise missile "Flamingo" in production

Ukraine has started serial production of Flamingo cruise missiles with a range of up to 3,000 kilometres, which is almost double the performance of the US Tomahawk Block V missile, which has a range of about 1,600 kilometres.
The novelty is equipped with a 1 tonne warhead - twice as powerful as the Tomahawk. This is reported by Defence Express.
Photojournalist Efrem Lukatsky published on Facebook pictures of the missile and announced more detailed information. According to experts, the photos most likely show the FP-5 cruise missile, which Milanion Group has already demonstrated at the IDEX-2025 exhibition in the UAE.
The FP-5's public specifications include:
Range: 3,000 kilometres
Time in the air: more than 4 hours
Maximum speed: 950 km/h
Cruising speed: 850-900 km/h
Wingspan: 6 metres
Maximum take-off weight: 6 tonnes
Weight of the warhead: 1 tonne
Experts note the uniqueness of the missile: large dimensions, fixed straight wing and engine placement above the fuselage make the FP-5 virtually unparalleled in the world.
Production is simplified: the missile does not use a transport and launch container and does not have a folding wing, which makes it possible to produce more than 50 units per month. The disadvantage is the increased time of pre-launch preparation - from 20 to 40 minutes, but experts consider this compromise justified.
The FP-5 is equipped with a satellite navigation system, resistant to enemy electronic means, and an inertial guidance system.
In addition, the missile's developers are probably involved in the creation of the FP-1 precision drone, which has already proven its effectiveness, including in strikes against the command post of the 132nd Motorised Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in Yenakievo and a defence plant in Arzamas.
Milanion Group is headquartered in the UAE and has subsidiaries in other countries, including the UK, as well as working with major Ukrainian defence companies.
