Russians fired a rocket at a residential five-storey building overnight

Zaporizhzhya city council secretary Anatoliy Kurtev said on Telegram:

RF troops have almost completely destroyed one 5-storey building. People are under the rubble. According to preliminary information, 2 people were killed. We offer our sincere condolences to family and friends. All relevant services are working.

What is known as of now:

• The entire entryway - floors 5 to 1 - of the five-storey apartment building has been destroyed;
• 8 people rescued and hospitalised. 20 have been evacuated;
• one dead person has been rescued from under the rubble;
• The State Emergency Service reported 2 dead and 9 rescued, including a pregnant woman.

The EMERCOM also evacuated 20 residents of a neighbouring building.
