The cause of the fire was allegedly ignited tyres.

This was reported by Russian propaganda media.

The fire reportedly took place at the Gostilitsy airfield in the Leningrad Region.

Local emergency services have already stated that the cause of the fire was tyres, which "caught fire".

No injuries were reported at the moment.

It should be noted that the Gostilitsy airfield is the largest general aviation airfield in the Northwest Federal District of the Russian Federation.
