Two enemy informers convicted in Donetschyna region


Two people were found guilty of spreading information about the deployment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The sentences were announced to a resident of Kramatorsk and a resident of Slovyansk. The man was sentenced to 5 years in prison, the woman - to 8 years under part 2, 3 of article 114-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (unauthorised dissemination of information on the deployment of the AFU).
It is known that the convicts passed information to the enemy via messenger. In particular, a woman in May 2023 collected information of military nature in Sloviansk. After that she passed the data to the representative of the Russian Federation.
In March 2023, a man in a private chat to the messenger Telegram distributed information of a military nature. Despite the fact that the Russian army was shelling his hometown, the man still decided to help the occupants. He pointed to objects where AFU units and equipment were stationed. In addition, in text messages he wrote about the need to "re-educate" our nation and expressed his disdain and contempt for it, - reported in the Prosecutor General's office.
It is noted that the convicts were waiting in custody for sentencing.
