The head of the Servant of the People faction David Arahamy said that not all the norms of the bill could be supported.
MPs have returned the government's draft law No 10378 on mobilisation for revision. This was reported by the head of the Servant of the People faction, Davit Arahamiya, on 11 January.
He said that a closed meeting with the military command and a closed session of the Conciliation Council were held today.
Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, Chief of General Staff Shaptala, Defence Minister Umerov, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, heads of factions and committees were present there.
According to the results of the meeting, the bill is returned to the initiator. At the same time, we pass the proposals worked out in the committee and working groups," Arahamiya said.
Arahamiya recalled that the discussion of the draft law was previously held in the Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence in a closed mode, in compliance with the requirements of the legislation on the work with classified information.
There were many discussions. We understand the request of the military commanders and are ready to meet them. But not all the norms can be supported. Some provisions directly violate human rights, some are not optimally formulated. We openly told the military command about it," Arahamija said.
He noted that all political forces support the need for mobilisation.
