Ministry of Social Policy and UNICEF introduced a program of benefits for low-income families with children

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and UNICEF (an international organization operating under the auspices of the United Nations) are launching a multipurpose cash assistance program for vulnerable families with children who have been affected by the war and need financial support. This wasreported in the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.

These payments should strengthen the state programs to support internally displaced persons launched by the Government of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy explained.

Who can receive benefits:

1. Families with three or more minor children, of which at least one child is under two years of age.

2. Families with two or more children, where one child is with a disability.

Benefit amount:

• the payment is UAH 2220 for each family member per month, but not more than for five people. The allowance will be paid as a one-time payment for three months, that is, the amount for three months in one payment.

This payment will be made to certain categories in addition to payments made under state programs, in particular, in addition to payment to internally displaced persons for accommodation, the ministry noted.

On the site, you must fill out a questionnaire and be sure to check the correctness of the entered data. In particular, you will need to provide information about all family members and the bank account to which the payment will be made.

The transfer must arrive 4 weeks after the application is submitted.
