A total of 59,786 women are currently serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.



This was reported by Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov at the 6th Ukrainian Women's Congress.

According to the minister, 101 women serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been killed since the start of full-scale war. More than 100 other women servicemen have been wounded. 50 have gone missing.

Furthermore, according to the minister, there are currently only 59,786 women serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, of whom 41,000 are servicemen and almost 18,000 are civilians.

Also earlier, Defence Minister Reznikov said that over 350 women servicemen have been honoured with awards.
