Military exercises started in the Suwałki Corridor

The Suwałki Corridor (named after the Polish town of Suwałki located on it) is a 65 kilometre long section of the border between Poland and Lithuania.
A joint Lithuanian-Polish tactical exercise with an aviation element, Brave Griffin 24/II (Brave Griffin 24/II), began on Sunday. This is reported by LRT
Allies from the US and Portugal will also take part in the exercise. The exercise will last until 25 April.
It is indicated that during the exercise Lithuanian servicemen together with the allies will test defence scenarios in the so-called Suvalki corridor in accordance with the bilateral Lithuanian-Polish "Orsha Plan". However, much of the exercise is classified.
The Suvalki corridor borders on Kaliningrad Oblast from the west and Belarus from the east.
Recall, in late September, Alexander Lukashenko, who is the self-proclaimed leader of Belarus, discussed with his military command a possible attack on the Suvalki corridor. In a conversation with the Belarusian military, he said that Lithuania and Poland had a lot of "jamming about the Suvalsk corridor."
