Macron says who Putin will attack if he is not stopped

Russia poses an existential threat to Europe.
Encouraged by his victories in diplomacy and on the frontline, Vladimir Putin is sure to march on Moldova and possibly further on Romania if he is not stopped, French President Emanuel Macron believes, La Tribune Dimanche reports.
He emphasised that such steps would pose a danger not only for those countries that could be attacked by the Kremlin, but also for the entire European continent.
Our security is at stake," he said.
Macron emphasised that Russia poses a greater existential threat to Europe than ever before.
An over-armed and aggressive Russia is on our borders," he added.
He also noted that America has an important role to play in deterring Russian aggression. He also advocated the resumption of dialogue between Washington and Kiev.
The obvious fate of the Americans is to be on the side of the Ukrainians, I have no doubt about that. What the United States has done over the past three years is fully in line with its diplomatic and military traditions. I want to make it clear to the Americans that disengagement with Ukraine is not in their interests," he said.
At the same time, Macron pointed out that "there cannot be a just and lasting peace if Ukraine is abandoned to its fate".
