Macron gathers leaders of all parties to discuss Ukraine situation - Le Figaro

The Elysee Palace has already sent invitations to politicians.
French President Emmanuel Macron will discuss the situation in Ukraine with the leaders of all parties represented in the country's parliament on 7 March. The French daily Le Figaro reported.
According to Le Figaro, Macron intends to discuss with politicians the possible dispatch of French ground troops to Ukraine and a parliamentary vote on security cooperation between Ukraine and France.
French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal will also attend the meeting.
Note that while most NATO countries have ruled out sending alliance troops to Ukraine - including major players such as Germany, Britain and the United States - Macron has not ruled out the possibility.
French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet later clarified that Western countries could send troops to Ukraine without "crossing the threshold of war."
According to him, they could engage in mine clearance, take part in weapons production or work in cyber security.
Meanwhile, Moscow reacted to Macron's remarks, saying that the deployment of Western troops to Ukraine would inevitably lead to a conflict between Russia and NATO.
