- Lubinets told how many Ukrainian children deported by Russian Federation

According to officially confirmed information, Russian invaders deported more than 19.5 thousand Ukrainian children.
This was reported by the Ukrainian parliamentary commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets, at the international conference on human rights "Freedom or Fear", Ukrinform reported.
The ombudsman noted that returning one child every day to return all the deportees would take Ukraine 55 years.
Now there is a figure of more than 19,540 officially confirmed deported Ukrainian children. If we return one child every day, we need 55 years. And this is against the background of the fact that the Russian Federation continues to deport more and more groups of Ukrainian children from the territory of our state every day," Lubinets said.
Now, according to the ombudsman, the Ukrainian authorities have many initiatives for the return of children, but there are few tools.
Unfortunately, we do not have very many tools on how we can return all Ukrainian deported children. But we are looking for more and more specific tools on how we can return our Ukrainian children," Lubinets added.
Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchu saidthat the real number of Ukrainian children deported by the Russians remained unknown. We could be talking about hundreds of thousands.
We shall remind you that yesterday, 6 December, eight more children, aged from 8 to 18 years old, were returned to Ukraine. This is the second time that the State of Qatar has participated in the return of Ukrainian children.
